Having graduated from T.D. Medical College Alleppey in 1994, Dr Asha started her career at G K Hospital, Thiruvalla which enthused her to complete a MD on Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Dr Asha later joined Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla, Kerala as Consultant Gynaecologist and subsequently run health care services at Poyanil Hospital in Punalur, Kerala as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon. Dr Asha currently leads Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice in Matha Hospital, Kollam.
Dr Asha has successfully handled several gynaecological surgeries for more than 20 years. She has also been providing specialised medical care in the field of infertility. She is one of the sought-after minds in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Asha recognises the need to provide emotional support along with medical care. To this end, she strongly believes in providing personal care to her patients and focuses on tailor-made treatments to meet the individual needs of her patients. This approach has benefited a vast number of patients over the years. Now, she is taking this approach to the next level where she can guide her patients and be with them on their journey through womanhood, and Janika is born.
Having had an outstanding academic career where she secured top ranks in competitive examinations, the Government of India recognised Dr Asha’s academic excellence by way of providing NCERT annual scholarships throughout her academic period. Dr Asha continues to apply her intelligence and cutting edge thinking along with her vast experience and deep knowledge in her chosen field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to provide best possible treatments to her patients. She takes special interests in the well-being of her patients and promotes collaborative approach of working with patients to see through their health challenges.
